What to Look For On Your Final Walk-Through
ugh make sure the following occurs:
- Make sure any repairs you’ve requested have been made. Obtain any copies of paid bills and any related warranties.
- Make sure that all items that were included in the sale price such as draperies, lighting, and fixtures are still there.
- Check that all screens and storm windows are in place or stored.
- Check all appliances to make sure they are operating.
- Look at the intercom, doorbell, and alarm to check that they are operational.
- Turn on all the hot water to verify that the water heater is working.
- Turn on the air condition and heat to confirm that the HVAC is working.
- Look around the yard to make sure no plants or shrubs have been removed from the yard.
- Make sure the garage door opener and other remotes are available.
- Find all the instruction books and warranties on appliances and fixtures.
- Make sure all the personal items of the sellers and all debris have been removed
